I am daughter number 2 out of 3 in this travelling family, and will be talking mostly about the food on this trip.

And the advice about cheerios is quite valid, unless you want to spend several days breathing through a gas mask, don't do it.

Have dog, will travel?

We went to Vancouver, and came back with a German shepherd... How did that happen? Hopefully, we won't pick up another one on the way back from Montreal, because I think I am moving out then.

How it all started...

We did want to go to Scotland this year, Harry Potter castle and all... but then we bought a van, and suddenly, Scotland became ROAD TRIP instead, and since we can't possibly drive to Scotland from California... We live near San Francisco, we could have gone to San Diego, or Mendocino, but no, we are going to Niagara Falls, on the Ontario side. And while we are at it, why not go to Montreal and Quebec City? And since we'll be "in the neighborhood", we'll stop by Minnesota to see some friends, and in South Dakota, for Mount Rushmore. And who knows what else in on the way...
